Jim Dekker comes to us from Ontario, Canada having been raised in an immigrant family, participated in various church denominations and educated at Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale College), Calvin Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he finished a Ph.D. in 2002. His dissertation is on adolescent understanding of respect. Jim has worked with young people since the 80’s and is now the co-director with Ginny Olson at the Center for Youth Ministry Studies at North Park University and Seminary.
