Timothy L. Johnson, Director of Field Education, has ministered in congregations of The Evangelical Covenant Church for twenty-five years. These churches have been in Connecticut , Illinois and Minnesota . Tim's wife Kari B. Lindholm-Johnson is also an ordained Covenant Pastor. Together they have a son, Gabriel and a daughter Chloe.
Tim's hometown is Yakima , Washington from which he gets a nickname "Yak". His college and seminary degrees are from North Park . He also has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Hartford Seminary. Tim's doctoral project has been published, in part, in the Covenant Quarterly (November 1997) and is titled Focusing Attention On The "Mission Friends" Heritage.
A lifelong Covenanter, Tim has served in a number of denominational capacities including:
President of The Covenant Ministerium and member of The Board of Ministry, The Board of Benevolence, and
The Commission on Christian Action.
Tim's interests include sports, politics and country music.
