SemConnect History
North Park Theological
Seminary began their distance course delivery program, called SemConnect,
in the fall of 1999. The Seminary began by providing two supplemental
online courses to the regular campus offerings. As the
program grew, additional online courses were offered during the
regular fall and spring academic semesters.
By 2002, SemConnect was an accredited distance learning program,
through the Association of Theological Schools, offering a Master
of Arts in Christian Ministry degree. SemConnect expanded
in 2004-2005 to also include the Master of Divinity and the Master
of Arts in Christian Formation degrees through the distance format.
