Workshops

Over the course of this two-day event, workshops will challenge participants in some core tasks and ideas of justice work: presence, policy, programming, and perceptions.

Four workshop times in the schedule give participants the opportunity to experience a variety of these topics, or to focus in on gaining more knowledge in one specific area. Presence

Embrace the cause of justice by being present with those around you. A listening ear, acts of compassion and mercy, and our own connectedness with God are powerful forces of change.

Policy

National and local policy decisions can perpetuate cycles of inequity over many generations. This track will address systemic injustices, showcasing the vital role of community organizing and advocacy in change.

Perceptions

Our perceptions of race, class, and gender often perpetuate injustice. This track challenges misperceptions, dispels myths, and encourages us to see each other through a biblical lens.
