Albany Park Food Drive

North Parkers are coming together to help our neighbors in the Albany Park community in response to last week's flooding. As one of our first steps, you can show your support by participating in the Albany Park Food Drive to benefit the Friendship Center. The center serves 2,000 people every month here in our own community. Please consider donating:

·   Nonperishable or canned foods including peanut butter, canned meats/fish, stews, chili, hearty soups, macaroni and cheese, canned beans, spaghetti sauce and dried milk.

·   Baking items including one pound bags of flour and sugar or small bottles of cooking oils.

·   Paper products including paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues.

·   Personal care products including: toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, and toothbrushes.

·   Baby care items including diapers, wipes, baby bath soap, baby shampoo, and baby powder.

Bring Donations:

To the drop-off boxes in Carlson Tower, UMin, Burgh Hall/Java Haus, Nyvall Hall and the Helwig Recreation Center.
