NORTH PARK STUDENTS BACKPACK THROUGH OREGON

NORTH PARK STUDENTS ADDRESS ISSUES OF COMPASSION, MERCY, AND JUSTICE AT MUD EVENT

YELM, WA (February 5, 2008) - Members of North Park University's multi-ethnic worship team offered an image of unity as well as their music for nearly 270 teenagers who immersed themselves in issues of compassion, mercy, and justice at the MUD (Making United Disciples) event held at Cascades Camp and Conference Center over the Martin Luther King weekend, January 18-21. PETERSON IMPACTS STUDENTS AT YOUTH RETREAT

GLEN SPEY, NY (January 8, 2008) - Judy Peterson knew she was asking more than 400 teenagers to do something most people find difficult. Drawing from her painful experiences, including multiple miscarriages, the North Park University campus chaplain exhorted the students to find the beautiful in other people and in the most difficult of situations. CHAPEL CAROL-SING BRINGS OUT STUDENTS IN DROVES

CHICAGO, IL (December 6, 2007) – On Wednesday, December 5, Rev. Robert Dvorak returned to the North Park campus to lead the annual carol-sing that takes place during chapel. Rev. Dvorak took his signature standing pose at the grand piano in Anderson Chapel and led a string of carols using his own brand of humor and inserting stories about selected songs. Read more.
