International

Our institutional location provides us with an incredible opportunity to interact with and minister to immigrants who, through persecution, oppression, war, and political unrest in their native country, find themselves here in the city of Chicago.

Conversation Club

Focus: To assist local Spanish speaking immigrants in adapting to the culture and language of the United States. North Parkers meet twice weekly (Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6) at the Albany Park Community Center. As a North Park volunteer you are expected to join in conversation with one adult student at APCC. Half an hour of the conversation is in English and the other in Spanish.
