Seminary Student Services is happy to assist you as much as possible with the travel and lodging you’ll need to arrange in order to fulfill your degree’s residency requirements. We can offer directions from transportation hubs and general information on the neighborhood. Occasionally, we are able to connect you with on-campus students who have inexpensive lodging options available during intensive course weeks. Typically, on-campus housing options cost only $15 per night, and they come with the convenience of being close to your classroom and campus resources.
Travel and lodging costs are not included in tuition for Seminary classes. When you register for a course that will take place in Chicago, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from the city, and your own housing while you’re on campus.
Our campus is conveniently located on the North Side of Chicago, an easy drive from I-90/94 or Lake Shore Drive. We’re served by the Brown Line of the Chicago ‘L’ system as well as city buses. If you choose to fly or take a train to Chicago, you can easily travel to campus by ‘L’ and/or bus from downtown or either airport. Get directions to our campus.
