Student Learning Outcomes
The Master of Music in Performance equips students with a high level of competency in musical literature’s history, styles, and performance practices; performance in various environments, including as soloists and in ensembles; and understanding diverse pedagogical methods in multiple settings.
Students who earn the Master of Music in Performance degree pursue a wide array of career pathways, including:
- As solo or group performers for musical organizations, including choirs, ensembles, and theatre groups.
- As a musical instructor for individuals or groups.
- As a leader of a musical organization, such as an ensemble or theatre group.
