Why Choose Medical Studies?
The BS in medical studies is designed for students with bachelor’s degrees who wish to pursue a graduate health profession program: medical, dental, or veterinary school, or one of the allied health professions, such as physical or occupational therapy. Whether you are a career changer or a recent graduate whose career aspirations have only recently focused on a healthcare profession, a second degree in medical studies will allow you to concentrate solely on the science courses you need to successfully apply to the graduate school of your choice.
As a medical studies student, you will work closely with a faculty advisor who understands the demands of pre-professional healthcare programs, and who will be committed to helping you clarify and achieve your goals.
North Park’s dedicated Office of Health Professions Advising will track your progress and walk with you each step of the way, with the goal of admission into a medical program.
