Role models for living a life of significance and service can be found throughout Chicago, including the neighborhoods that surround North Park University. In areas such as Albany Park and Lincoln Square, the Latinx community has made remarkable contributions to public life. On October 2nd, in recognition of their impact, the Catalyst Hub and SGA invite you to participate in a special Hispanic Heritage Month event, “Latinx Leadership in Chicago,” featuring 33rd Ward Alderwoman Rossana Rodriguez-Sanchez and 40th Ward Alderman Andre Vasquez.

Both will share perspectives on the Latinx experience in Chicago, their aspirations as public officials, and what the future holds for the city. Student leaders from LASO, Rising Dreamers United, and SGA will facilitate this vital discussion.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend! We look forward to seeing you there.
