Registration Day is an opportunity for first-year undergraduate admitted students to get a head start on preparing for fall classes at North Park. You will be able to register for classes with the help of faculty and academic advisors, meet your future classmates who are also interested in your intended major, and learn more about student activities on campus. You’ll have a complete fall course schedule by the end of the day.
First-year admitted students are expected to attend a Registration Day event. For those who cannot attend the final Registration Day, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 773-244-5500.
Parents are welcome to attend Registration Day, as well, and will have the opportunity to hear from North Park staff and faculty about college transition for their students, career paths, and academic success.
You will need to pay your tuition deposit before the Registration Day event. This signifies that you intend to come to North Park in the fall and starts the process of activating your North Park Network Account, including a North Park student email address. This is required to register for classes and receive important information as you continue to prepare for the fall. Registration Day is a full-day event, and you must attend the entire day in order to get your course schedule.
We are happy to provide directions to campus and if needed, we can assist you and your family in arranging transportation from an airport, bus, or train terminal to North Park’s campus.
You may park in our visitor parking lot at the corner of Foster and Kedzie Avenues. No visitor parking passes are needed for the event. Download a campus map with designated parking areas.
There will not be on-campus housing overnight available for this event. There are a number of hotels in the nearby area as well as downtown Chicago. Accommodations must be made directly with the hotels. Your hotel may be able to offer transportation options to and from campus, so be sure to ask. Otherwise, a vast array of car rental agencies have offices at O’Hare and Midway Airports.
In addition, we can recommend a number of excellent restaurants, both in the North Park area and around the city.
