Dir, Advising for Advanced Educ in the Health Profession

For over 25 years, Kristine Aronsson has served in the medical field in hospitals and other institutions throughout Illinois. Drawing from her extensive experience and established relationships within the health industry, Kristine advises students in utilizing Chicago as a resource for their education and career. “We encourage you to use our network to explore the city’s opportunities, keep an open mind, and know that no experience is wasted.”

Kristine earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College, a small, private, liberal arts school which she likens to North Park saying, “I am often reminded of the value of an education from a school like this.” Having attended Rush Universty for graduate school, Kristine also says the city and the hospitals were her classrooms.

Kristine is passionate about healthcare quality, education, babies, and dogs; but most of all she is committed to helping her students succeed at North Park and in their future careers.

Spending time with my husband, Göran (NPU Class of 2000), and our daughter, Pernilla, who just turned two. I love to travel, cook, bake, and watch foreign crime shows and movies, none of which I do quite as much with a toddler!
