Parents and Families
Your student may be the one going to class, but we know that families and friends are also deeply invested in the future success of their loved one. North Park University attracts a diverse student body looking for a rigorous curriculum, supportive environment, and strong connections to the working world. Our Career Development and Internships Office helps students get the most out of their college experience by offering assistance in choosing a major, finding an internship, and mapping their career path. Long after graduation the Career Development and Internships Office works with alumni of all ages to get connected in their fields of interest, advance within their fields, or shift into new career. Encourage your student to take advantage of the resources we have to offer, beginning their first semester on campus.
Internships are a valuable way to gain real-world work experience and explore a variety of career paths. At North Park, we offer access to hundreds of business and nonprofit internship opportunities.
Meet prospective employers, learn how to ace a job interview, visit top-tier employers across Chicago—these are just some of the events the Career Development and Internships Office offers every year.
