The Evangelical Covenant Church’s Ordination to Word and Service credential requires a minimum of 60 hours in graduate-level theological education. At 60 credit hours, the MACM dual-degree options can satisfy all these requirements, if specific courses are completed while in Seminary.
Women and men who desire to seek ordination in the ECC should take History and Theology of the Evangelical Covenant Church (HSTY 7300, 3 credit hours) as one of their general elective options in the program or as an additional course. Any specific questions about coursework or requirements for ordination can be directed to the ECC’s Department of the Ordered Ministry.
