General Information


Apartments and houses available to undergraduates
  •  Apartments
    • Carmen Avenue apartments: Single to four-person occupancy
    • Lund Apartments and Sawyer Court: Single and double occupancy
    • Park North apartments: Single occupancy
    • Sawyer Court: Single and double occupancy
  • Houses
    • Three–five students per house
    • Located on Carmen, Spaulding, and Sawyer Avenues

Students apply in groups and choose their own roommates. All residences are single-gender per unit.

 

Furnishings
  • Unfurnished (except beds, stove, fridge):
    • Triple-occupancy Carmen Avenue apartments
    • All campus houses
  • Furnished with dorm-style furniture:
    • Single- and double-occupancy Carmen Avenue apartments
    • Lund Apartments (desks, chairs, bookshelves, dressers, beds)
    • Park North apartments
    • Sawyer Court (desks, chairs, bookshelves, dressers, beds, lounge seating, and kitchen tables and chairs)

  • Two dining hall meals per week are included in housing fees

Lund Apartments


Independent living, city style. Located near Burgh Hall and Anderson on Argyle and Spaulding Avenues, Lund Apartments provide proximity to classes and the dining hall in Magnuson Campus Center.

  • One portable, non-window air conditioning unit per bedroom allowed, but not provided

Sawyer Court


Classic Chicago style, campus convenience. Located just south of campus on Sawyer Avenue, Sawyer Court blends independent apartment living with easy access to campus and the surrounding Albany Park neighborhood.

  • 25 double-occupancy and three single-occupancy apartments
  • Semi-furnished:
    • Stackable bedroom furniture (bed, desk, etc.)
    • Some living room furniture
  • Full kitchen with built-in microwave and dishwasher

Park North


Independent living, city style. Located just south of campus on Kedzie Avenue, Park North offers studio apartments surrounded by neighborhood charm, local shops, and quick access to the Brown Line.

  • Dresser and bookshelf

  • Kitchenette (microwave, fridge, stove, breakfast bar with two stools)
  • Private bathroom

  • One portable, non-window air conditioning unit per apartment is allowed but not provided

  • First-floor lounge with couches, booths, tables, and a TV
  • Study space with computers and a printer
  • Community kitchen
  • Laundry room on the lower level
