College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
North Park University accepts CLEP exam credits based on the guidelines below
Policy
- CLEP credit cannot be granted for courses previously audited or taken for credit.
- Credit will appear on your transcript once officially enrolled at North Park.
- Official CLEP scores must be sent to North Park to process credit.
- A maximum of 30 CLEP credits may be awarded.
- To request your scores, contact CLEP at (609) 771-7865 or via email.
Procedures
- Verify with the Office of the Registrar that the credit applies to your major or graduation requirements.
- Take the CLEP exam at a nearby testing center (North Park is not a testing site).
- Have scores sent to North Park University (Office of the Registrar, code 1556).
Fees
- Students are responsible for CLEP exam fees.
- North Park charges $35 per semester hour to post CLEP credit (subject to change).
Additional Information
- CLEP scores typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive.
- If the required score is not met, you may retake the exam after 6 months.
