College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

North Park University accepts CLEP exam credits based on the guidelines below

Policy

  • CLEP credit cannot be granted for courses previously audited or taken for credit.
  • Credit will appear on your transcript once officially enrolled at North Park.
  • Official CLEP scores must be sent to North Park to process credit.
  • A maximum of 30 CLEP credits may be awarded.
  • To request your scores, contact CLEP at (609) 771-7865 or via email.

Procedures

  • Verify with the Office of the Registrar that the credit applies to your major or graduation requirements.
  • Take the CLEP exam at a nearby testing center (North Park is not a testing site).
  • Have scores sent to North Park University (Office of the Registrar, code 1556).

Fees

  • Students are responsible for CLEP exam fees.
  • North Park charges $35 per semester hour to post CLEP credit (subject to change).

Additional Information

  • CLEP scores typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive.
  • If the required score is not met, you may retake the exam after 6 months.
