In addition to teaching at North Park, Sun Chang performs in the Chicagoland area on harpsichord, piano, and keyboards.
She is a member of Ensemble Affect,Trio Tailleferre, and Ensemble Vitelotte, a keyboard-violin duo specializing in historical women composers. She has also performed with numerous ensembles including Haymarket Opera, Bella Voce, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra and Friction Quartet, Ars Musica Chicago, WFMT Bach Organ Project, Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra, and American Bach Soloists.
Sun is also working on a solo album of keyboard suites by Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre recorded on piano, a project made possible with support by the Luminarts Foundation. She also plays Irish traditional music on the tinwhistle, and is an amateur viola da gambist and jazz kitten.
