Cecilea Mun is an Assistant Professor at North Park University with over 20 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. She has taught at a wide range of institutions, including Purdue University, the University of Louisville, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Clemson University, Arizona State University, and several community colleges. She has also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Sheffield.
Her publications include a monograph titled Interdisciplinary Foundations for the Science of Emotion: Unification without Consilience, as well as two edited collections: Cultural Perspectives on Shame: Unities and Diversities and Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Shame: Methods, Theories, Norms, Cultures, and Politics. In addition, she is the founding director of the Society for Philosophy of Emotion and the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Philosophy of Emotion.
