Featured course

SPAN 3170–The Cultures of Latin America
Advanced intermediate course taught in Spanish, that introduces major trends in four regions of Latin America: The Caribbean, the Andes, the Southern Cone and Central America. Course content will expand vocabulary and reinforce grammar while improving skills of summary and synthesis.

Study abroad

Spanish majors can study abroad in Cuenca, Ecuador, with a professor-led program offering intensive language and cultural study, travel, service, and host-family living. Other options include programs in more than 40 countries worldwide.
