Why Study Management?

Focus on managing processes and systems and leading people by studying business management. Managers help companies and organizations reach their goals by focusing on efficiency and effectiveness while also understanding how to work with and lead individuals who focus on many aspects of business operations. Graduate ready for a leadership position in an established company—or ready to run your own small business.

Internships

To earn a business degree with a concentration in management, you’ll complete a 150-hour minimum internship in a professional setting. North Park interns have worked at places that include WGN Chicago, Chicago Cultural Alliance, Executives Club of Chicago, and the Women’s Business Development Center. Our Career Development and Internship Office will help you find your perfect fit.

Enhance your study of management by earning the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
