Athletic Training at North Park

Our Master of Science in Athletic Training 3+2 program lets you earn both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Athletic Training in an accelerated format.

Our fully accredited 3+2 program meets these standards, offering hands-on training, clinical experience, and expert faculty to ensure you’re ready to succeed.

In just five years, you’ll:

  • Earn two degrees

Not only did North Park help me realize that athletic training is what I wanted to do, but they were key to getting my internship at my dream work destination, the Chicago Bulls.

Hands-on learning

The MSAT program includes five clinical education placements—each with at least 150 hours— to allow students to gain practical experience with clinical skills in real-world environments. Due to our location in Chicago, we have a wide variety of affiliated sites, including professional sports teams, NCAA Division I and III institutions, junior colleges, physician practices, rehabilitation centers, and secondary schools.

We’ve also designed our on-campus facilities to provide athletic training students with hands-on experiences.

  • A combined classroom and laboratory space allows for seamless integration of clinical skills practice into class sessions.
  • The research room offers space for mentorship from faculty, staff, and more advanced students.
  • Facilities include state-of-the-art equipment for our athletic training students and student-athletes.
