North Park University’s Theatre Program is based on the “storefront” model of creating productions for intimate and unique settings. Chicago is world-renowned for its contribution to this movement, which makes our urban campus the perfect place for students to get hands-on training. North Park’s collaborations with prestigious theatre artists and varied theatre companies prepare students for real-world careers. Our holistic approach to theatre studies give students the opportunity to learn the full spectrum of practical skills that an artist needs to be successful. Graduates of our theatre program have gone on to pursue terminal degrees at Northwestern University, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of California—Davis, and the University of Southern California, to name a few. Additionally, you’ll see our graduates working as company members of various theatre companies in the Chicago area.
