Trevor James

Assoc Dean of SPS, Assoc Prof and Dir of Bus Program/Biblic

Dr. Trevor James oversees the business administration as well as organizational management and leadership majors. “I firmly believe in the mission and vision of North Park and the School of Professional Studies. We truly care about our students, and we celebrate in their accomplishments and help them in their struggles,” says Dr. James. He strives to make each of his classes engaging and energizing. “I try not to just teach the material but make it applicable for the students. That way they are able to use what they learned in the classroom the next day at work or in their daily lives,” he adds.

He has worked for companies such as North Shore Healthcare and J. Walter Thompson, one of the largest and most successful advertising firms in the world.

In September 2016, he successfully obtained his doctorate degree in leadership for the advancement of learning and service in higher education at Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI.

He also loves the outdoors and spending time in his hometown in the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of Michigan.
