Commuter Students

More than 60% of North Park University’s undergraduate students live off-campus, commuting from various locations around Chicagoland. As a commuter student, you’re part of a vibrant community, and the Office of Student Activities and the Commuter Student Association are here to help you connect with resources and the community so that you feel at home while on campus.

Commuter applications

Review the on-campus housing requirements and exceptions to ensure you qualify as a commuter.

Approved commuters without a leave of absence from the university do not need to apply again. Failure to submit your commuter application before the semester starts will incur a $1,125 noncompliance fee.

Dining on campus

Commuter students have multiple meal plan options and can add Flex Dollars to their student ID to use at any dining locations on campus.
