Most resident students live in residence halls their first year and second year, and then have options that include University-owned apartments and houses.

June–July
Beginning June 9, roommate assignments for all incoming students (first-year and transfer) are distributed. If you’re going to be a new student at North Park in the fall, complete and submit your housing paperwork as soon as possible in order to get your assignment as early as possible.
August
Threshold Move-In Day: August 23, 2019
Returning Student Move-In: August 24 and 25, 9:00 am–9:00 pm
If you’re a student leader, athlete, or international student, you may have a different move-in date. Make sure you know when you’re expected to be on campus.
August 30 is the last day to decrease your meal plan for the fall semester. You can increase it at any point during the semester.
September
September 9–13: Room Change Week (your only option for switching rooms or roommates for the fall semester)
October
Fall Break, October 18–20, all housing remains open
November
Thanksgiving Break, November 27–December 1, housing remains open but no meals served Thursday through Sunday in the dining hall
December- Holiday Break
Time to head home for the holiday break! Students must leave campus housing by Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 10:00 am.
If you need to stay on campus for work or another reason, you may apply in the Residence Life and Housing Office to live on campus over winter break for an additional $200 fee.
January
Spring Semester classes resume Monday, January 13, 2020. Housing re-opens Saturday, January 11 at 10:00 am.
If you’ll be a new student for the spring semester, check your Threshold materials to see when you’ll be able to move in.
January 17 is the last day to decrease your meal plan for the spring semester. You can increase it at any point during the semester.
January 27–31: Room Change Week (your only option for switching rooms or roommates for the spring semester)
February
March
Spring Break, Saturday, March 7–Sunday, March 15, all housing closed and no meals served
Campus housing closes at 10:00 am on March 7. If you need to stay at North Park for work or another reason, you may apply to live on campus over spring break for an additional $50 fee. Campus housing reopens on March 15 at 12:00 pm.
April
Returning students apply for next year’s housing. Watch for announcements from your RAs and the ResLife office for important details and dates.
May
End of the year: all housing closes for the summer.
Students must leave campus housing by Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 10:00 am. Graduates and students participating in commencement may remain on campus until Sunday, May 10 at 10:00 am.
