University Ministries

Forming students to impact the world for God.

Worship

We worship together weekly in Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, dynamic, and diverse gatherings where we learn to love God, one another, and the world around us.

Grow

We grow best in community, and at NPU there are ample opportunities to grow together in Christ and his Kingdom where students support, encourage, and challenge one another to become more like Christ and pursue his vocation for their lives.

Serve

We pursue a commitment to love, mercy and justice by providing numerous opportunities for students to put their faith into action by serving together locally, nationally, and globally.

Highlights

The CollegeLife606 Podcast

University Ministries is committed to creating space for courageous conversations at the crossroads of trying to follow Jesus while navigating culture. You can access Season 1 of The CollegeLife606 Podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hear compelling conversations with guests such as Pastor-Hip-Hopper Jonathan Brooks, Kingdom Creative Sharon Irving, and Professor Greg Lee on topics such as social media, politics, justice, and more.

Sankofa Experience

Sankofa is a journey toward racial justice and reconciliation. Each February, University Ministries takes a group of students and faculty to places like Birmingham, Alabama and Memphis, Tennessee in order to encounter our country’s past and present realities, have courageous conversations, and seek God’s Kingdom in more of its fullness.

About Sankofa

Life Groups

LifeGroups are smaller groups of 4-10 students who are doing life together and seeking Life together. Some LifeGroups focus on Bible study or prayer, some read books together, some focus on specific topics or represent people with similar interests (athletic teams or artists, for example) – all are centered on encountering Jesus and being transformed by him.

Global Partnerships

Global Partnerships is a place in your North Park experience where your faith, learning, and service will meet in transformative experiences around the world. Whether you serve alongside our partners right here in local disaster relief zones or as distant as the Zulu Hills of South Africa or somewhere in between, your eyes are sure to be opened and your heart ignited with the things closest to God’s heart. We send 150 NPU students, faculty, and staff out annually to learn and serve alongside up to 14 Global Partnership organizations, and we invite you to be one of them.
