Please note that you will be registered for courses for the term in which you applied.

  1. After making your commitment, you will receive an email with your new NPU username and password.
  2. You will need to use the Password Reset tool to set your new NPU password.
  3. Once activated, please follow the directions to set up your Multifactor Authentication.
  1. If you are a US Citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible to use federal loans to help fund your undergraduate degree. To determine eligibility, you’ll need to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  2. In order to maintain eligibility for federal financial aid, you must:
    –Maintain satisfactory progress in your program of study
    –At least half-time attendance (six credit hours per semester for graduate studies) is required.
    –You may not be in default on federal student loans.
  3. Certain undocumented students may be eligible to apply for state financial aid programs including the State of Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) through Retention of Illinois Students & Equity (RISE) Act.
  1. Complete the commitment form, and you will be automatically placed in your first two classes (GS-2050 and GS-2080). Your SPS Advisor will be in contact with you to confirm class enrollment.
  2. To be eligible for federal financial aid, you must be enrolled in six credit hours per semester, one quad A course and one quad B course. You will receive an email from Student Accounts about billing after you are registered.

Once you have your class schedule, you will be able to complete your Online Orientation class, ACSR 0100. You can do this by logging into your Canvas account with your NPU username and password.
