Associate Professor Carol Lynch teaches in the School of Nursing. In her classes, Lynch encourages active participation with hands-on clinical experience and simulation practice in North Park’s state-of-the-art facilities. She hopes that after her students graduate, they will continue their education and make a difference in the care of their patients and community.

Lynch is a recipient of the Delores Johnson Senior Award in Nursing from North Park University. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Park University and Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Leadership from Elmhurst College, Lynch has a Certification of Nurse Educator and a Master of Online Teaching Certificate from the University of Illinois Online Network. Lynch also maintains membership in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

For Lynch, spirituality plays an important part in her life, and she seeks to serve as a role model to her students as they learn to become more compassionate as individuals and nurses.
