Gabriela Vazquez

Gabriela Vazquez  is passionate about mentoring students and making an impact. Overseeing many student-led organizations, Vazquez aims to shape students into strong leaders and empower them to succeed.

North Park’s city-centered distinctive is important to Vazquez, and she works closely with the Voyage Activities Board to plan off-campus events, providing students opportunities to engage with the city as a classroom. In her role, she also implements diversity training and supports the University’s intercultural mission.

Vazquez uses her experiences to advise and help others while exploring her passion for creating meaningful relationships with students. “In a society where we are often told that all major life decisions should be made by 22, I like to remind students that this is not the case. It is okay to make mistakes, to change your mind, and not have it all figured out—whether that be regarding your major or career choice or trying something new, such as studying abroad,” she says.
