Jack Surridge has been director of athletics since 1997. In this role, he is responsible for the supervision of the 17 intercollegiate athletic teams, the Helwig Recreation Center, intramurals, and sports information. He previously served North Park as head coach of the women’s basketball team and as a teacher of genetics. Surridge is an avid fisherman and fan of all NPU teams, the Cubs, Packers, and Blackhawks.
