Jessica Popovic

Jessica Jordan Popovic earned a bachelor of music degree in violin performance and a master of music degree in violin performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University, studying violin with Gerardo Ribeiro. She received training in the Suzuki Method through the Suzuki Association of the Americas as well as other early childhood education methods. In addition to freelance work, she has played professionally in orchestras and chamber groups and has a special interest in performing with bluegrass and country bands. Popovic is on faculty at North Park University where she teaches applied string methods courses and Lake Forest College where she teaches string pedagogy and applied methods.
