Dr. Marcelene Cunningham has more than eight years of experience in instructional design and has taught in both face-to-face and online environments. Her research interests include e-learning, teaching and learning with emerging technology, learning systems design, performance improvement, multimedia learning, and universal design for learning.

Prior to joining North Park University, Cunningham served as an online course manager with the off-campus degree program at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She has also served as an online group facilitator, second examiner, and advisor for instructional design projects at University of the West Indies, Open Campus. Dr. Cunningham is a Quality Matters coordinator and peer reviewer.
