Pre-Law

North Park University’s pre-professional track for law is a sequence of courses and advising that will give you a solid foundation for your applications to competitive law schools around the country. The pre-law track should accompany a major—most often politics and government or business and economics—where you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of government and business.

Advising

Pre-law students are advised by faculty in the Politics and Government Department, often Dr. Jonathan Peterson who has significant real-world experience in the world of law and politics. Your advisor will talk with you about your particular interests in law, and help you stay on track throughout your program at North Park to make sure you are prepared for your applications and interviews for law school.
