The North Park University Orchestra will perform a Cantata Service at Sauganash Community Church. The service will be led by Pastor Joseph Snedden. The orchestra will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s  Vergnügte Ruh, beliebte Seelenlust (Delightful rest, beloved pleasure of the soul), BWV 170 and Widerstehe doch der Sünde (Just resist sin), BWV 54.

SCC has been in the neighborhood for almost 100 years. Although unaffiliated with any denomination, SCC is rooted in the Protestant tradition with bits of Lutheran, Methodist, Congregational, and evangelical theological styles present. The current membership comes from a blend of backgrounds, united in common purpose: hospitality for all who come through their doors.
