At minimum, all prospective students must meet these standards for grade point average (GPA) and standardized test scores:

First-year students who do not meet the minimum requirements above may be considered for provisional admission. International students must also meet additional requirements for acceptance.
North Park University takes a lot of information into account when evaluating your application. In addition to your academic achievement as demonstrated through your ACT/SAT scores and transcripts, we will consider the following:
- Your high school attendance record
- A personal essay that you submit with your application, describing why you are interested in attending North Park University and why you believe you would be a good fit here (up to 500 words)
- Activities and involvements that reflect your initiative, leadership, personal character, and values
- Recommendations from your teachers, community leaders, pastors, etc.
