Seminary Joins New Video Streaming Platform
North Park Theological Seminary (NPTS) is now partnering with Northern Seminary, Lisle, Illinois, in the new Seminary Now platform.
Seminary Now is a subscription-based, streaming video platform that delivers exclusive biblical, theological, and practical ministry training from a diverse group of leading educators and thought leaders. The platform makes non-degree, certificate-level seminary courses accessible to church leaders and lay congregational ministers. Seminary Now provides for-credit exploratory courses from partner seminaries to enable prospective students to explore seminary education.
Dr. Al Tizon, Affiliate Associate Professor of Missional & Global Leadership at NPTS, recently filmed a class for Seminary Now titled, Missiology for the 21st Century, which will be available in the near future. Subject areas for Seminary Now videos range from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Biblical & Theological Foundations to Church & Mission, Ministry, and Justice & Reconciliation.
Viewers can earn a certificate from Seminary Now by completing eight courses in a learning track. Course completion involves watching the course, completing the learning workbook, and passing a comprehension quiz.
Other partner institutions include B H Carroll Theological Institute, WTC Theology, Institute for Bible Reading, Christian Community Development Association, and Transforming Center.
