Sociology Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate understanding of historical and contemporary sociological knowledge, theories, and ideas.
  2. Illustrate systematic approach to evaluating sources of literature and scholarly works.
  3. Demonstrate scientific approach to planning, conducting, and reporting on research.
  4. Demonstrate familiarity with discipline’s diverse fields, paradigms and topics that include critical analyses of issues relevant to race, ethnicity, gender, privilege, inequality, urban affairs, citizenship, justice, and social problems.
