Choose from six graduate-level certificates in specialized areas of ministry. Ranging from eight to 12 semester hours, certificate programs are flexible, affordable, and designed for both vocational and lay ministers. You can take courses to meet your goals and enhance your skills, while also engaging with the Seminary community and taking advantage of formational resources and opportunities.
You’ll learn alongside students from all Seminary certificate and master’s degree programs, building supportive and challenging relationships with others in your field. Our dedicated faculty teach both in-person and distance courses, getting to know you personally and walking with you as you discern your call to ministry.
Courses for certificates can be counted toward master’s degrees at North Park Theological Seminary, and certificates can serve as a concentration within a degree program or stand alone for non-degree-seeking students. Courses are offered online, throughout the semester, and as intensives in the January term and summer, with select intensives over fall and spring break. This interdisciplinary certificate is tailored for health professionals and offered in collaboration with North Park University’s School of Nursing.
