Earn Your MACF and MBA or MNA

Completing a dual-master’s degree in Christian formation (MACF) and business administration (MBA) or nonprofit administration (MNA) will allow you to deepen your biblical and theological foundation while gaining the skills you need for management. No matter your role, understanding organizational behavior, budgeting, financial decision making, and strategic management will help you confidently and sustainably grow your ministry and lead your congregation, clients, or colleagues. You’ll be fully equipped to pursue career advancement or seek a new ministry position. With a firm grounding in Christian teaching, discipleship, and spirituality, you’ll be ready to answer God’s call to serve the world in new ways.

Field Education

As a companion to your academic work at the Seminary, you’ll complete seven credits of Field Education. This will include both cultural competency and theological reflection experiences, as well as supervised practical training in an internship.

From the moment you enter Seminary, you will be immersed in a community that places vocational development front and center alongside academic preparation. Identity and spiritual formation coursework, psychological testing, and specific attention paid to sustainable ministry and self-care habits are all crucial elements of your development as a minister. North Park Theological Seminary will also walk alongside you as you complete your education and move into ministry and the credential process of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

A MACF plus an MBA/MNA can be completed in three years of full-time study and internships, although many of our students complete the program over a longer period of time and choose to take in-person, online, and intensive hybrid courses.
