“During the trip to LA, I was able to develop a real care and passion for the homeless population, learning about the other needs in this population beyond a home, including healthcare, family support, and spiritual support. Now I know that this is one of the populations I want to dedicate my career to. I was also able to find part of myself in the great scheme that is Jesus. He blessed me with new relationships that I treasure to this day. He led me closer to him with open arms and healed me from the stress of the world with reassurance and gave me a reason to continue on the path that I am in today.
