Housing and Commuting Options

Where and how you live can influence your Seminary experience as much as your hours in the classroom or ministry settings. With so much time spent studying and in the classroom, the hours when our Seminary students “do life together” become formational as well as relaxing. Whether you are a full-time or part-time student, eating, laughing, praying, playing, and worshipping with your colleagues at North Park is a valuable formational aspect, helping you practice some of what you will do in your church and ministry communities following Seminary graduation.

For students who are able to relocate to Chicago, our on-campus housing is an affordable way to fully immerse yourself in the academic and community life of North Park. Our housing options are available to both individuals and families; you may choose to live alone or with roommates. We provide studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments on and near campus, helping to foster community life at the Seminary. In addition, many of the Seminary faculty and staff also live in the surrounding neighborhoods, and are active participants in the many activities and opportunities this creates. Commuting students are an important part of our community. Commuters are invited to participate in every aspect of co- and extracurricular life at the Seminary, and encouraged to build relationships with resident and other commuter students. Learn more about the resources available to commuters.
