MaLinda oversees the activities of the counseling office. She provides mental health counseling to North Park students and clinical supervision for graduate interns. Her clinical experience spans nearly 25 years. MaLinda is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a board-certified art therapist who primarily utilizes solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and integrative approaches to counseling. She works to provide a collaborative and supportive counseling experience. MaLinda is also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a brief counseling approach for PTSD and related traumas.

Adrian Battle, LPC

Adrian is a licensed professional counselor with an interest in multicultural counseling and identity development. His therapeutic approach is integrative and culturally sensitive. Adrian’s clinical experience includes working in a college counseling center and in private practice providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Adrian has also completed additional theological training to provide a faith-based approach.

Huong, a licensed clinical social worker, provides counseling to North Park students. She cares for the student population and recognizes the unique set of pressures and challenges students encounter during their college years. Huong’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and student-centered, acknowledging the notion that students are the experts of their lives. Huong is committed to helping students discover their strengths, build coping skills, reach attainable goals, and cultivate a balanced and meaningful college experience.
