MaLinda oversees the activities of the counseling office. She provides mental health counseling to North Park students and clinical supervision for graduate interns. MaLinda’s clinical experience, spanning more than 20 years, includes work with children, adolescents, emerging adults, adults, and seniors in hospital, partial hospital, community mental health, and international settings. MaLinda is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a board-certified art therapist with an interest in solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and integrative approaches to counseling. MaLinda is also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a brief counseling approach for PTSD and related traumas.

Adrian Battle, LPC

Adrian is a licensed professional counselor with an interest in multicultural counseling and identity development. His therapeutic approach is integrative and culturally sensitive. Adrian’s clinical experience includes working in a college counseling center and in private practice providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Adrian has also completed additional theological training to provide a faith-based approach.

Huong Nguyen, LCSW

Mental Health Counselor

Huong, a licensed clinical social worker provides counseling to North Park students. Huong’s clinical experience includes providing mental health services and crisis intervention to culturally diverse populations of all ages in various settings including community mental health agencies, a resettlement agency, and both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospital settings. Huong’s approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy
