Canvas Transition and Training

You can access Canvas by going to MyNPU and clicking on the Canvas link. You will use your full NPU email address and password to login.

Ongoing Training
We have streamlined the process of enrolling in the self-paced Canvas tutorial for students. Now all students can easily go to their Canvas Dashboard to access the training tutorial without having to enroll or request to be enrolled. As a reminder, this training is completely online and is full of tutorials and videos for how to use Canvas from the students’ perspective. We hope that it will be beneficial. To manage what courses you see on your Dashboard, visit this Canvas Guide.

Questions or Concerns: Please contact the Center for Online Education (COE) if you have any questions or concerns about the transition to Canvas. We are here to help. Email:

SBNM Graduate Information Sessions

For prospective students who reside in the Chicago area, information sessions are an excellent way to explore the campus and meet face-to-face with faculty and staff. Information sessions are held at each of our campus locations, including Chicago and Grayslake. An information session typically lasts 60-90 minutes and is an excellent way to:

  • Learn about North Park degree and certificate programs, including information about admissions and financial aid
  • Have the opportunity to meet faculty to discuss your career and how it can be supported through our programs
  • Tour the campus and have an opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish

Get all the information you need to get started at one of our upcoming information sessions. You still have time to apply and begin coursework this year.
