AlcoholEdu and Haven

In order to promote a healthy and safe environment at North Park University—and to provide you with important information for your own health and safety—we require each member of the incoming class to complete a two online courses that begin before you arrive on campus: AlcoholEdu for College and Haven—Understanding Sexual Assault. These programs will empower you to make informed decisions about alcohol and relationships as well as prepare you to respond appropriately to the varying situations and influences you might encounter on a college campus.

These online, non-opinionated, science-based programs were developed by a company called EverFi, are used at schools around the country, and are completed by hundreds of thousands of students each year. They are confidential and personalized: North Park University won't know what answers or information you input. We'll just get a report that you have completed it, and data about our incoming students as a whole group.

The course includes a variety of tools and information sources, including videos, blogs, infographics, and strategies and tips for making responsible decisions and acting as a positive influences for your friends.
