About the Conference

North Park University is committed to creating a learning environment that is shaped by and for the richly diverse world our graduates will one day lead. Our Christian, urban, and multicultural identity drives this passion, and encourages us to continue to provide opportunities like the Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Participants will be challenged to grow in the knowledge and skills needed to lead diverse campus organizations, as they also increase their competence in working with diverse individuals and groups. We hope to teach these individuals how to be agents of change on their campuses and in their communities.

Speakers at the event will include Dr. Cornel West, Rev. Harvey Carey and Rev. Jim Wallis, along with North Park's own Rev. Judy Peterson and Prof. Soong-Chan Rah.
