DMin in Preaching Applicants

Joining with five other schools from the Association of Chicago Theological Schools (ACTS), North Park offers a doctor of ministry (DMin) degree in preaching.

Prerequisites:

To be accepted into this ecumenical program, students must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master of divinity (MDiv) degree (or its equivalent)
  • At least three years of post-MDiv parish ministry experience
  • Declared support from sending group within their context of ministry (either the parish or an acceptable alternative)

To Apply:

Applicants should review the instructions on the ACTS DMin in Preaching website. The program uses a common application, though you must submit the application form directly to North Park Theological Seminary. The application deadline for this program is January 31.

There are only 32 spots available for students each year in this DMin program. Admission decisions are made with a commitment to cultivate a diverse student body in the program.
